Term
100 Life Insurance
The name
"Term 100" is somewhat of a misnomer as Term 100
is a permanent life insurance plan. Term 100 is the
simplest form of permanent life insurance. Premiums
are guaranteed throughout the life of the contract as well
as a guaranteed level death benefit.
Term 100 Life
Insurance is used for those with a permanent need for life
insurance. This may include using Term 100 for
covering final expenses, paying for final taxes, or leaving
a Planned Gift to your favourite charity upon death.
Depending on
the plan chosen, the premiums may be paid throughout your
life or for a limited period such as 10 or 20 years or to
age 65. These premiums are fixed and guaranteed for
the premium paying period.
Term 100
plans usually are convertible to a Universal Life plan.
If you plan to convert your Term 100 plan to a Universal
Life plan in the future, be sure it has this feature.
Some plans with much lower premiums don't provide a
convertibility option. Another consideration when
purchasing Term 100 insurance is to look at what Universal
Life products there are available to convert to with that
company. Universal Life plans vary greatly in the
options and benefits they provide. Upon your request,
we can provide you with the information you need to make
this informed decision.
Benefits and
riders, such as a Child Term Rider, Accidental Death
Benefit, and Disability Waiver, are usually optional
features with most Term 100 Life Insurance plans.
